MSU Equipment Manager awarded game ball vs. Auburn

Without any football players to give a game ball to, MSU awarded it to their equipment manger.
After each football game, MSU selects one or two players to get a game ball for outstanding performance. Since there were no outstanding performances against Auburn, the coaches felt they should just five it to the guy who tried the hardest. But since no one tried hard, they decided to just give it to the equipment manager.
A poll was taken on Sunday, and 12% of MSU fans approved of the all-maroon clad uniforms. That was more than triple the amount of fans who approved of the team’s performance.
There was some griping about the pant-stripes being white/silver/white instead of silver/white/silver and/or with them being ugly. But other than that, equipment guy did a great job.

All the jock straps were properly cleaned. The face-masks were screwed onto the helmets correctly. It was a pretty flawless performance from the equipment team.
A tip of the cap should also be given to the band. They were a highlight for the day as they showed up and played.
Concessions were good. I thought the Dr. Pepper on the west side tasted better than the Dr. Pepper on the east side. I was able to try both as I kept re-locating to different seats as folks left the game.
And that’s all the positive things there is to say about what occurred at Davis Wade Stadium on Saturday.
Who’s looking forward to that trip to the Rockies?
