Missouri St beats Northwestern St 34-27

NATCHITOCHES, La. (AP) - Kierra Harris threw three touchdown passes and ran for another score to lead Missouri State to a 34-27 come-back win over Northwestern State on Thursday night.
Julian Burton caught four passes for 140 yards and one score. Harris completed 11 of 22 passes for 195 yards.
Northwestern State, which won the season opener against Missouri State 23-17 last year, started strong as Zach Adkins, who threw for 318 yards and two touchdowns for the game, led the Demons to a 24-7 halftime lead. Northwestern State had a first-and-goal at the Bears' 4 in the third quarter when Colby Isbell forced a fumble and recovered it at the 3. The Bears drove 97 yards for a touchdown capped by Eric Christophel's 15-yard touchdown reception from Harris to close the gap to 24-14.
Harris later scored on a 1-yard run and threw a 13-yard touchdown pass to Gannon Sinclair with 5:15 remaining in the fourth to take a 28-27 lead.
