Michigan State Football: Weather report vs. Penn State

Here’s what the weather report for Saturday’s Michigan State football game in Happy Valley looks like.

Michigan State and Penn State play in the final game of the season most years and the Spartans are always in for a dogfight against the Nittany Lions. Being the final game means that it’s going to be a cold one. This year is no different.
Happy Valley is one of the most hostile environments to play in the country and add in the fact that it could be hovering around the freezing mark on Saturday, it will be a tough matchup for the Spartans.
Here’s what the weather looks like for Saturday’s game at University Park:
Weather at kickoff: 43°F, 10% chance of precipitation, 12 mph wind East
Weather at game’s end: 38°F, 7% chance of precipitation, 9 mph wind East
O’Connor’s passing attack shouldn’t be affected much by the weather, but his weak arm is a different story. Keeping the ball on the ground might be the best option for this offense, but don’t count out some big plays through the air.
The Spartans will finish the season on a dry note with little chance of precipitation. It will be a bit chilly, though, but that’s better than the weather against Ohio State.
