Anyone who follows Michigan knew the Wolverines seemingly have been stockpiling quarterbacks since Jim Harbaugh took over as head coach in late December, but all of them together is still a sight to behold.

From left that is Brian Cleary, Zach Gentry, Alex Malzone, Garrett Moores, Shane Morrris, John O'Korn, Jake Rudock and Wilton Speight.

Cleary and Moores are walk-ons while Malzone and Gentry are true freshmen.

O'Korn and Rudock both transferred into the program this offseason from Houston and Iowa, respectively. While O'Korn has to sit out per NCAA transfer rules, Rudock is eligible immediately as a graduate transfer.

None has been named the starter for Michigan's season-opener against Utah, but Morris told reporters at the team's media day Thursday he feels like it is his job to lose.

"I really feel like I can be the quarterback of this team," Morris said via the Detroit News. "I'm going to go out there and do everything possible in practice and workouts and meetings, compete at everything I do. I've never been more excited about camp."

Harbaugh named Morris the No. 1 guy coming out of spring ball, but since then Rudock has arrived, bringing with him two years of experience as the starter at another Big Ten school.

Harbaugh told reporters he plans to give everyone a shot when practice gets cranked up Friday.

"All of our quarterbacks, except for John O'Korn, they've got the license and the ability to compete and earn their position, whether it's starter, backup, contributor, scout team, etc.," Harbaugh said. "That's what we're here for, that's what we're going to find out."
