Where else can the Cavaliers turn to find a quality linebacker?

Enter Mark Hall, who's looking for a promotion this year. Jeff White singled out Hall as a candidate to replace one of Virginia's departed linebackers in his post-spring game notebook.

Hall (6-2, 240 lbs.) only had eight tackles last season, six of which came on special teams by White's count. This spring, however, he worked out at all three linebacker positions.

Virginia defensive coordinator Jon Tenuta wants to "settle [Hall] in on one thing and one thing only," according to White.

In refining Hall's game, the Cavaliers hope to avoid a drop-off in performance on the defensive side of the ball.
