The LSU Tigers received a commitment from Baldwin County, Alabama offensive lineman Jakori Savage on Tuesday, according to Everything Alabama

Savage becomes the Tigers' 13th commitment in their 2016 class. The lineman is seen as a bit of a project, as he currently measures in at six-foot-six, and 285-pounds. Although his high school coach Nathan McDaniel sees a bright future ahead for him.

"I've told every college coach that comes through here that if Jakori ends up in the right spot, he will be a draft pick in five years," McDaniel said.

Committing to a team as stacked with talent as LSU currently is should help allow Savage to come along slowly and develop into the player his current coach envisions him becoming down the line.

"He is probably a five-year player in college. Before he plays in the SEC, he needs to put on a little weight. A lot of colleges want to see him at 315 or 320," McDaniel continued. "So I would guess he would redshirt that first year in order to get bigger, but he has everything it takes to be a great player."
