Louisville football is preparing for perhaps their biggest game of the entire 2016 season. For fans coming to the game on Saturday, we take an early look at the forecast.

This is going to be a very exciting week and weekend for Louisville football fans. The second ranked Florida State Seminoles will be arriving soon to face off against the Cardinals this coming Saturday at 12:00pm. The winner of this game will put themselves in great position to compete for the ACC Championship.

Florida State versus Louisville will surely draw tens of thousands of fans to Papa Johns Cardinal Stadium this weekend. Therefore, let’s take a look at what the weather outlook is looking like as of Tuesday evening.

According to the Weather Channel, the weather in Louisville on Saturday afternoon could prove to be a bit of a problem. However, it is still early in the week, so the weather can always change fast.

Rain could significantly impact the game on Saturday and the pre-game festivities. The last thing Louisville football needs is another factor working against their receivers, who struggled with drops last Friday in Syracuse. While rain could also impact the Seminoles, Cardinals fans should be hoping for dry conditions on Saturday.

Again, it is still very early in the week for a solid weather forecast. However, it does look like Friday and/or Saturday could be Louisville’s best chance for rain.
