SAN ANTONIO (AP) Jonathan Barnes kicked a 32-yard field goal with 10 seconds left, lifting Louisiana Tech to a wild 34-31 win over UTSA Saturday night in what became a quarterback battle.

Jeff Driskel, a Florida transfer, completed 28 of 44 passes for 351 yards and a TD strike to Jarred Craft for Louisiana Tech (4-2, 2-1 Conference USA). Trent Taylor caught a career-best 13 passes for 143 yards.

David Sturm, picked off on his first pass, rallied to throw four touchdowns on 227 yards passing, two each to David Morgan II and JaBryce Taylor for UTSA (1-5, 1-1).

Bryson Abraham intercepted Sturm and returned it 25 yards for a TD barely two minutes into the game, but UTSA tied 10-10.

The Roadrunners again rallied with three straight TDs after halftime to tie it at 31 early in the fourth.

But Louisiana Tech reached fourth-and-1 at the 16 and let the clock run before setting up Barnes' game-winning kick.
