College football legend Lou Holtz was the unfortunate victim of a lightning strike early Monday morning. Fortunately for Holtz and his family, they were not harmed during the blaze.

According to the Orlando Sentinel, more than 60 firefighters and 26 fire vehicles responded at 2:42 a.m. and extinguished the fire just over three hours later at 5:59 a.m. Two firefighters sustained "minor" injuries while battling the blaze.

This adds to a rough offseason for Holtz, as his ESPN contract was not renewed last April.
