Leonard Fournette's 2015 Heisman campaign has officially started

Remember when LSU running back Leonard Fournette struck a Heisman pose after scoring on Sam Houston State back in September?
It seemed premature at the time, especially for a true freshman playing in his second college game. It doesn't anymore.
Fournette went off Tuesday in the Music City Bowl vs. Notre Dame. He returned a kickoff 100 yards for a touchdown:
Later, in the third, he broke free for an 89-yard burst through the Irish D to the end zone:
Have a game, Leonard Fournette! The true freshman goes 89 yards for his THIRD TD of game. LSU leads ND, 28-21. » http://t.co/35GjteNWRO

His 143 rushing yards vs. Notre Dame helped him break 1,000 yards for the season, and an LSU record:
Leonard Fournette has 1,026 rushing yards this season, the most by an #LSU freshman in school history.

Yeah, a running back hasn't won the Heisman since 2009, but Fournette will certainly be in the conversation if he keeps this stuff up.
