Latest Auburn-Alabama shenanigans

We’re T-minus 25 days until this year’s edition of the Iron Bowl, and the shenanigans in advance of the annual grudge match are already in full swing.

Recently, a Jefferson (AL) County man found that his car had been burglarized. Insult was added to injury when the man -- a diehard Alabama fan -- also discovered an Auburn Christmas tree ornament on the front passenger seat as an apparent calling card.

The victim told authorities that he believed the ornament was a message since he would never have Auburn merchandise anywhere near his car.

“I guess the rivalry knows no boundaries,” county chief deputy Randy Christian told AL.com.

No kidding, officer. Haven’t you heard of Harvey Updyke?
