Andrew Shoop threw for two touchdowns and ran for a third to lead Lafayette to a 30-13 victory over Holy Cross Saturday in Patriot League action.

After a scoreless first quarter, the Leopards (5-2, 2-0) scored first on Shoop's 10-yard touchdown run. The point-after failed but Ryan Gralish kicked a 31-yard field goal for a 9-0 Lafayette halftime lead.

Shoop's 5-yard scoring pass to Mark Ross - one of 12 receptions for Ross, totaling 168 yards - increased the Leopards' lead to 16-0. Holy Cross quarterback Steven Elder got the Crusaders (1-6, 1-2) on the scoreboard with a 12-yard touchdown pass to Alex Schneider. The 2-point conversion attempt failed.

Shoop, 20-of-28 passing for 235 yards and no interceptions, then hit Bandon Hall on a 28-yard scoring pass. Kalif Raymond returned the ensuing kickoff 80 yards for a touchdown, but Vaughn Hebron's 1-yard scoring run clinched it.
