Kentucky extends contract of TE coach Vince Marrow

LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) Kentucky tight ends coach and recruiting coordinator Vince Marrow has agreed to a contract extension through June 2018.
Financial terms weren't disclosed about the deal first announced Monday on the program's Twitter account and later on the athletic web site. Marrow had been rumored as a candidate for new Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh's staff, but will stay with Kentucky.
Wildcats coach Mark Stoops tweeted about retaining Marrow, ''Vince has been an important part of the growth of our program and I'm excited about his contract extension.''
Said Marrow on the web site, ''I'm excited to be part of it as we continue moving forward.''
