HOUSTON (AP) LeMontiez Ivy threw a 7-yard touchdown pass to Jairus Mull with 6 minutes left, lifting Jackson State to a 15-10 win over Texas Southern on Saturday night.

Jackson State (4-7, 2-6 Southwestern Athletic Conference), which ended a five-game losing streak, was limited to three Ryan Deising field goals before Ivy threw a touchdown pass for the eighth-straight game. The winning score was set up by Justin Jennison's interception at the Jackson State 42 with 8:04 to play.

Texas Southern (5-6, 3-6), which had its season end with its fifth-straight loss, had taken a 10-6 lead late in the third quarter when Quinton Salsberry returned a fumble 10 yards for a score.

Deising had 19- and 35-yard field goals for the only scoring in the first half. Eric Medina put Texas Southern on the board early in the third quarter with a 32-yard field goal, which Deising matched 15 minutes later.
