Casey Therriault threw three touchdown passes to Anthony Mayes as Jackson State took care of Alabama A&M in Southwestern Athletic Conference play on Saturday night.

Therriault hooked up with Mayes on two separate 44-yard touchdowns to give the Tigers (4-1, 2-1) an early 14-0 lead. The second score capped a 91-yard scoring drive that took just 28 seconds.

Kaderius Lacey scored on a 10-yard run in the second quarter to cut the Bulldogs' deficit to 14-7.

Therriault increased the Tigers' lead to 20-7 on a 1-yard touchdown run with 6:44 left in the first half before Reed Gallagher's missed extra point.

Lacey scored his second TD early in the third quarter from 11 yards out to cut the deficit for Alabama A&M (2-4, 1-4) to 20-14.

Gallagher kicked a 25-yard field goal, and Therriault hit Mayes with a 10-yard touchdown pass with 13:29 left in the game to end the scoring.
