Is this a Nebraska butt punt to rival Mark Sanchez's butt fumble?

Mark Sanchez had a great Thanksgiving, leading the Philadelphia Eagles over the Dallas Cowboys. And his holiday weekend improved on Friday as his butt fumble received some company.

We now have the butt punt.

Nebraska's Sam Foltz had problems handling this snap in the third quarter of his team's game against Iowa. The Cornhuskers had three players acting as blocking backs, and, somehow, Foltz picked the bobbled snap up too close to his protectors and ... this happened:

The partner in crime here was Zach Hannon, a 6-foot-5, 305-pound redshirt freshman from Kansas City, Mo.

It's not easy to tell where exactly the ball hit Hannon, but ESPN commentators went ahead and dubbed it a "keister" kick, and hey, it's just more fun to say "butt punt" than "back punt." But you be the judge. Here's the highlight video for another look.

The punt was recovered and run into the end zone by Drew Ott for a touchdown. The Hawkeyes led 24-7 after that, but Nebraska still rallied for a 37-34 OT win.

The Nebraska faithful, already uneasy with coach Bo Pelini, had to be more restless as they are certain to become the butt of a college football joke.
