Getting the ball to Michael Floyd is one of the most effective options for Notre Dame. No secret there. Throw it in his direction and good things often happen in coach Brian Kelly's spread offense.

Even when he isn't healthy.

Floyd overcame a sore hamstring Saturday to make three TD catches in a 44-20 victory over Western Michigan that gave the Irish a three-game winning streak heading into their game against Navy.

Floyd caught nine balls for 157 yards - the 11th time in his career he has surpassed 100 yards. He has six TD catches this season and 22 for his career, tying him for third place on Notre Dame's all-time list.
