Illinois State tops Youngstown State 35-21

NORMAL, Ill. (AP) Tre Roberson threw for two touchdowns and ran for another and Marshaun Coprich ran for two scores Saturday to give Illinois State a 35-21 comeback win over Youngstown State.

Roberson hit Cameron Meredith on a 29-yard pass for the go-ahead score in the fourth quarter after Collin Keoshian blocked a 45-yard field-goal try by Joey Cejudo. Roberson iced the game with a 36-yard TD run after the Penguins (7-3, 4-2 Missouri Valley) turned the ball over on downs.

Coprich tied it at 21 in the third quarter with a 1-yard run for the Redbirds (8-1, 5-1).

Roberson was 16 of 24 for 178 yards and an interception, with a 6-yard TD pass to James O'Shaughnessy. Coprich gained 107 yards on 22 carries, with a 2-yard TD run.

Hunter Wells was 14 of 25 for 236 yards and two TD passes. His 39-yarder to Andrew Williams gave the Penguins a 21-14 halftime lead.
