A rough offseason for the Huskies has gotten a little bit rougher as the program has announced the release of redshirt linebacker Drew Lewis.
In a short press release, Washington announced that Lewis had been dismissed from the program by head coach Chris Petersen.
Lewis, a three-star prospect in the 2014 recruiting class, was once rated as the No. 7 player in the state of Washington. He was expected to contribute at linebacker and on special teams this upcoming season.
