Texas comes off its bye week to open up conference play against Oklahoma State in Stillwater.
Texas (2-1) last played against California, losing 50–43 on Sept. 17, while giving up 503 yards of total offense. Freshman Shane Buechele is completing 66.3% of his passes with seven touchdowns and two interceptions.
Oklahoma State is also coming off a loss, a 35-24 setback to Baylor. The Cowboys are seeking to avoid the first 2–3 start in the Mike Gundy era. The Cowboys are averaging 39.3 points, while the defense is in the top 20 in forcing turnovers.
Texas leads the all-time series 24-6, although Oklahoma State has won four of the last six meetings.
