Hoke still upset about loss to rival

Michigan coach Brady Hoke says he hasn't gotten over the loss to Michigan State over the weekend.

Part of it is because the 18th-ranked Wolverines have a bye this week, meaning Hoke doesn't have anything to focus on. Another reason: the rival Spartans just won their fourth straight game in the suddenly tilted series.

Hoke plans to put his players through a pair of hard-hitting practices and a few weight-lifting workouts during the bye week. Michigan's next game is Oct. 29 at Purdue.

The Wolverines' weaknesses were exposed in the 28-14 loss Saturday at Michigan State. The Spartans dared Denard Robinson to throw and the quarterback completed his lowest percentage of passes as a starter. Hoke says Robinson was knocked out of the game with what he said was a bruised back.
