Colton Chapple's passing and a rugged defense led Harvard to a 42-3 rout of Bucknell on Saturday.
Chapple threw for 176 yards and five touchdowns as the Crimson (4-1) took advantage of five Bucknell turnovers. Three of Harvard's five touchdown drives covered less than 40 yards each. Chapple has nine touchdown passes in the past two games and has thrown 17 this season with three interceptions.
Cameron Brate and Kyle Juszczyk each caught two touchdown passes for the Crimson. Seit Smith III scored the other touchdown for Harvard on a 91-yard kickoff return after a Bucknell field goal in the fourth quarter.
The Crimson intercepted Bucknell quarterback Brandon Wesley four times and came up with four sacks. The Bison (4-3) were held to minus-5 yards rushing and 140 total yards.
Bucknell has lost two in a row and has been held without a touchdown in each of those games.
