Hard hit knocks Clemson's Gallman out of game vs NC State

CLEMSON, S.C. (AP) Running back Wayne Gallman has left third-ranked Clemson's game against North Carolina State after getting injured in the first quarter.
Gallman was hurt Saturday Dravious Wright hit him hard and caused him to fumble for the first time this season. Gallman was helped off the field, evaluated on the sideline and then went to the locker room.
The nature of his injury hasn't been announced.

Gallman set Clemson's single-season rushing record with 1,527 yards last year. This season he's scored five touchdowns and is averaging 79.2 yards a game.
