Georgia LB Bing-Dukes to transfer in search for playing time

ATHENS, Ga. (AP) Georgia coach Mark Richt says redshirt freshman linebacker Detric Bing-Dukes has decided to transfer to another school.

Richt said Bing-Dukes hopes to find more playing time elsewhere. He entered preseason practice fourth on the depth chart at middle linebacker.

In a statement released by Georgia, Bing-Dukes said ''I love Georgia and appreciate the opportunity I had to be a Bulldog.''

Richt said he will assist Bing-Dukes in his search for another school.
