Gators lose safety Spencer Perry to decommitment

The Florida Gators recruiting class took a hit as three-star safety Spencer Perry took to social media to announce his decommitment to the team.

Perry is now projected to land at either Notre Dame or Auburn, according to his 247 Sports crystal ball projections. Perry also has scholarship offers from Arizona, Clemson, Ohio State, Oregon and Michigan State among others.

Perry's decommitment leaves the Gators with 14 total commitments to date in their 2016 recruiting class.
