No Jameis Winston, no problem. Despite the fact that Florida State lost its former Heisman-winning quarterback to the NFL Draft, along with several other stars from last year’s team, the Seminoles are still a hot ticket.

According to the Tallahassee Democrat, Florida State has sold nearly 40,000 of its allotted 45,000 tickets so far this offseason. Heading into the 2014 season, FSU sold all of its 45,000 tickets as fans flocked to catch a final glimpse of Winston and Co. This season, a large bulk of those ticket holders renewed, which is good news for the Seminoles.

“I think a lot of people thought we’d have a backlash this year with a lot of drops and a lot of folks bailing out this year, but that just simply hasn’t been the case this year,” Jack Chatman, FSU’s director of ticket operations, told the Democrat last week.

“We’re in better shape this year then we were in ’13.”
