FSU safety James named a freshman to watch

Everybody knows about Florida State's super DB Jalen Ramsey, and now they are about find about Derwin James, the next star in the Seminoles secondary.
James, a 6-1, 202-pound five-star recruit from Haines City, Fla., was ranked the No. 5 overall prospect in the country by 247Sports and landed on Bleacher Report's list of 12 freshman to watch in 2015.
The ultra-athletic James was a highly coveted recruit coming out of high school and Florida State coach Jimbo Fisher said he was the best defensive back prospect he's ever seen.
"Without a doubt," fisher told the Tallahassee Democrat. "Because the size, the speed, the instincts, the intelligence and when he hits you, he hits you. He comes downhill and really hits you. But he's also got great ball skills. He's not just one of those hitters."
Here's what Bleacher Report had to say about James: “He stands 6’2” and 201 pounds and has excellent tackling and playmaking skills, as well as great instincts. He’s a great physical presence and has solid all-around skills. While senior Tyler Hunter and junior Nate Andrews are the projected starters, it wouldn’t surprise anyone to see James push for playing time.”
