FSU RB Pender recovering from collapsed lung

The Seminoles suffered a scare during practice on Wednesday when running back Mario Pender had to be taken to the hospital after sustaining a collapsed lung, but the good news is that he is expected to make a full recovery and could return to practice as early as next week.
On Wednesday, the school tweeted: “Best wishes to @MarioPender who suffered a collapsed lung today in practice but should be fine for the wake forest game. Best wishes to him.”
According to Warchant.com, the junior running back sustained the injury when he made contact with an offensive lineman on a running play.
The No. 10 Seminoles (3-0, 1-0 ACC) have bye this week but will return to action on Oct. 3 when they play at Wake Forest at 3:30 p.m.
On the season, Pender has rushed 30 times for 140 yards and one touchdown.
Best wishes to @MarioPender who suffered a collapsed lung today in practice but should be fine for the wake forest game. Best wishes to him
