Gigantic, four-star class of 2016 offensive lineman Josh Ball is expected to declare what school he will attend next year, and Florida State is hoping he chooses the Seminoles.

According to the Palm Beach Post, Ball, a 6’7” 300-pound offensive lineman from Fredericksburg, Va., will announce his commitment at the Rivals 100 Five-Star Challenge.

Ball has narrowed his list down to FSU, Penn State, West Virginia, Auburn, Virginia, Virginia Tech, South Carolina and Maryland.

Ball has been recruited by Seminoles offensive line coach Rick Trickett, and gushed about his meeting with him and the FSU staff.

“I’ve met coach Trickett before and he kind of set things off,” Ball told Rivals. “I love that dude. He is one of my favorite offensive line coaches.

”Coach (Jimbo) Fisher is really down to earth. He’s really straight up and he’s a great guy. I love the strength and conditioning coaches too. They were all good people. We drove around the campus after we got there. It’s beautiful and a great atmosphere.”
