FSU football gave a valiant effort after getting down two touchdowns against Clemson, but came up short in the end for the second consecutive year.
FSU football started like it normally has all year on Saturday night. It gave up a touchdown on Clemson’s first possession.
Then Clemson scored another touchdown before the first quarter was over, and it looked like the rout was on.
However, FSU football regrouped off a couple of Clemson turnovers that resulted in 14 points.
Normally it’s the defense FSU fans are criticizing after loss. They had they moments, but it seems most FSU fans are blaming the poor play of the offensive line.
Poor Deondre Francois. That kid doesn’t deserve to take the beating he has taken all season. He was sacked six times, and rocked on several other occasions.
He actually had to come out of the game for one play late in the game, but returned after a huge Freddie Stevenson run that looked to set up the game winning touchdown.
Francois finished with 286 passing yards with one touchdown and one interception on 17 of 35 attempts.
Not only did the offensive line get Francois killed, they had numerous false start penalties. Here’s what fans and others had to say via Twitter:
At the risk of being called Captain Obvious, our offensive line is in a word, offensive! #FSUvsClemson

Thoughts
The offensive line was the glaring weakness on the FSU team when watching the game. They are so bad Deondre Francois would seemingly feel pressure when there was none.
Overall, it wasn’t a bad loss, and a game that FSU football probably should have won despite not playing that well.
The refs had a couple of costly calls too, but FSU still had their opportunities and wasted a large portion of them.
