During Thursday night’s NFL draft, former Florida State center Cameron Erving was selected by the Cleveland Browns with the No. 19 overall pick, a surprising selection that bolstered an offensive line that already features star left tackle Joe Thomas.

Seminoles head coach Jimbo Fisher appeared on the Kiley & Booms radio show on 92.3 The Fan in Cleveland and cited his former center’s intelligence as a key component in Erving’s success.
