Frogs racking up the individual preseason honors

The awards keep coming in for the TCU football team and its players.

Quarterback Trevone Boykin, wide receiver Josh Docton and running back Aaron Green have been named to the watch list for the Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award which is presented to the nation's top player with Texas ties.

Meanwhile, TCU center Joey Hunt and offensive tackle Halapoulavaati Vaitai have been added to the watch list for the Lombardi Award which is given to the nation's top lineman. Hunt and Vaitai are All-Big 12 picks from last season.

Boykin is a preseason All-American pick while Doctson and Green were also All-Big 12 picks in 2014.

TCU tied for the Big 12 championship last season and went 12-1 winning the Peach Bowl 42-3 over Ole Miss.
