Fresno State schedules games with Alabama, UCLA, Minnesota

FRESNO, Calif. (AP) Fresno State has scheduled future football games against Alabama, UCLA and Minnesota.

Athletic director Jim Bartko said Monday that the Bulldogs will visit Alabama on Sept. 9, 2017, and UCLA on Sept. 18, 2021. Fresno State will also play a home-and-home series against Minnesota with a road game in 2018 and the Gophers coming to Fresno in 2019.

These games fill up Fresno State's nonconference schedule through 2018. That includes another trip to UCLA in 2018 that had been previously announced.

The Bulldogs will play seven Power Five teams in the next four years with only this season's game against Utah coming at home. Fresno State also visits Ole Miss in 2015, Nebraska in 2016 and Washington in 2017.
