Four-star DE Cowan gushes about offer from FSU

Florida State got good news this week as class of 2017 four-star edge rusher VanDarius Cowan gushed about his offer from the Seminoles.
"Florida State was that offer I have always wanted," Cowan told Nole Digest. "As soon as I found out about it I called Coach [Bill] Miller to talk with him about it. I was all smiles that day and I plan to talk with Coach [Jimbo] Fisher soon."
Nole Digest also reported that the 6-4, 225-pound Cowan has received offers from Florida and Ohio State.
Cowan, who was raised in Chicago before moving to Florida where he currently plays for Palm Beach Gardens High, said he has been a life-long Seminoles fan.
"I grew up in Chicago but Florida State has always been a favorite of mine. I have watched them on T.V. a lot and that offer got my blood pumping,” Cowan said to Nole Digest. “I have not visited there yet, but I will be there this summer. I like how they play, they always have great players, and it is a school I think about a lot."
