Cornerback Antonio Crawford left the Hurricanes in late February and has since found a new home.

Matt Porter of the Palm Beach Post reports that Crawford will play out the remainder of his collegiate eligibility as a West Virginia Mountaineer.

Competing with a deep defensive backfield, Crawford wasn't guaranteed a starting job at Miami even though he has seen regular playing time at the nickel position since 2012. It's unclear, according to Porter's report, whether Crawford will be eligible to play right away at West Virginia.

Porter also reported that walk-on wide receiver Stephen Sweeney is transferring to UNLV.
