Former FSU players still waiting on White House invite

On Jan. 22, 2014 Florida State edged past Auburn, 34-31, in the national title game to finish the season with a perfect 13-0 record.

A national championship usually comes with a pass to visit the White House, however, members of that FSU team are still waiting for theirs.

According to Gamedayer, the visit never occurred because of scheduling conflicts.

Officials at the White House originally said that scheduling confusion kept the ‘Noles from being honored after winning the title.
