Over the weekend BYU lost one of its biggest fans when nine-year old Austen Russell died after being run over.
Russell, who watched BYU games since he was three, was a huge fan of Kyle Van Noy, the former Cougars linebacker and current Detroit Lion.
In a post on CougarBoard, the Russell family stated that when Austen would play sports he would always chose the No. 3 because of Van Noy and Tyler Hawes.
