Fordham rallies to beat Villanova 27-24

Michael Nebrich scored his second touchdown of the day on a 4-yard run in the fourth quarter and Fordham rallied to beat Villanova 27-24 on Saturday.
Nebrich, who also scored in the first quarter, ran for 102 yards on 20 carries to help the Rams (2-0) erase a 21-17 deficit with two second-half scores. Michael Marando kicked a 25-yard field goal to cap a 65-yard drive and Nebrich put the finishing touches on a 17-play, 96-yard drive.
Nebrich was 26 of 35 for 190 yards passing. Sam Ajala caught seven balls for 68 yards and Carlton Koonce rushed for 83 yards and a touchdown. The Rams defense held the Wildcats (0-2) to 168 yards rushing.
John Robertson threw for 164 yards and ran for two scores. Kevin Monangai added 81 yards rushing for Villanova (0-2), which lost five fumbles.
