Florida State lands four on all-ACC team


Florida State landed four players on the all-ACC preseason team, as kicker Roberto Aguayo, cornerback Jalen Ramsey, offensive tackle Rod Johnson and linebacker Terrance Smith were each honored by the 163-person media panel.
Clemson, who was picked to win the ACC this year, led the way with five all-conference selections, while FSU and Virginia Tech tied for second with four each.
Aguayo, who was an all-American last season, scored 141 votes, the second-most of any player. Pitt running back James Conner led all players with 148 votes.
Ramsey, a 2014 all-American second-teamer, led all cornerbacks with 115 votes, while Johnson led all offensives tackles with 104 and Smith was the top vote-getter at linebacker with 99.
Dalvin Cook, who seemed destined to earn preseason all-conference honors before being suspended indefinitely for allegedly hitting a women, still managed to receive 36 votes.
