Florida is currently riding the rocky roller coaster of recruiting

The world of college football recruiting isn't for the faint of heart. It's also not a spectator's sport -- considering the fluidity and fickle nature surrounding the entity itself.
Blessed & honored to say that I am officially Committed to The University of Florida! ?? #Chomp #Chomp #GatorNation pic.twitter.com/GxspGyUn9v

Impressionable young men are being pursued by high-profile figures within the industry. As such, any major college program will experience both the highs and lows when its comes to receiving commitments -- or potentially losing one.
Florida felt this dichotomy over the past weekend, as it garnered the pledges of two players, and lost the services of another.
This is a huge decision in my life for the next 3-4 years. I just want to make sure I'm making the right choice? pic.twitter.com/Yo1EUmD6Iy

After garnering the commitment of stud signal-caller Feleipe Franks, Florida followed that up with a pledge from massive offensive guard Jawaan Taylor. A 3-star Scout.com recruit, the 6'5", 343-pound lineman appears to be a monster in the run-game. He opted for the Gators over offers from Clemson, Ohio State, and Florida State (among others).
Unfortunately for Jim McElwain and his staff, they also lost the non-binding commitment from cornerback Jayvaughn Myers.
A Rivals.com 4-star athlete, the corner out of Dade City has offers from all over the country. Interestingly enough, his half-brother is also a fellow top-recruit, in receiver Nate Craig-Myers.
