College Football 24/7 writer Bryan Fischer examined the 2015 NFL draft class and picked out 100 rookies who are ready to make a sudden impact with their new teams. Five former Hurricanes made his list, starting with linebacker Denzel Perryman at No. 27.

"The team [San Diego Chargers] wanted a physical thumper in the middle of the defense and got a good one in Perryman," Fischer wrote.

After Perryman, wide receiver Phillip Dorsett (No. 36), offensive lineman Ereck Flowers (No. 40), tight end Clive Walford (No. 46) and even sixth-round defensive end Anthony Chickillo (No. 89) made the list.

"He won't be on the field for every snap, but he can come in and solidify a spot by holding down an edge for the team's new-look defense," Fischer wrote about Chickillo's fit with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

After a 6-7 season in 2014, the Hurricanes can only hope this crew of Miami products is highly visible at the NFL level this year. Otherwise, the reasons for recruits to choose "The U" are growing slim.
