Elite athlete Tupai will not sign on Wednesday, visiting new school

While most prospects will make their official decisions this upcoming Wednesday, top 2016 athlete Maxs Tupai decided he needed a little bit more time.
The Utah native will not sign a letter of intent on Feb. 3 -- instead choosing to visit UCLA officially this upcoming weekend.
It's an interesting turn of events for the athlete -- who's already visited USC, Utah, Oregon State, and Oklahoma officially.
Tupai is one of the more intriguing prospects in this class. He could ultimately end up at a number of positions on the defensive side of the ball. Functioning as a hybrid outside linebacker/defensive end isn't out of the question. Tupai could strictly become a defensive end -- or even bulk up and move inside as a tackle.
He plays with an aggressive, violent nature -- utilizing immense power and very good quickness.
His preexisting relationship with new UCLA assistant coach Marques Tuiasosopo likely impacted his decision to take a trip to Westwood. Coach "Tui" had been recruiting Tupai during his time as USC earlier this year as well.
