Eastern Washington rallies to beat Sacramento St., 28-20

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) Jordan West passed for an Eastern Washington school-record 491 yards and three touchdowns, and Kendrick Bourne caught seven passes for a career-high 204 yards and a score to help the Eagles overcome a 20-7 halftime deficit and beat Sacramento State 28-20 on Saturday night.
It was the West's second-consecutive game with at least 400 yards passing.
Cooper Kupp finished with 10 receptions for 133 yards and two touchdowns for Eastern Washington (2-2, 1-0 Big Sky). The junior now has 47 career touchdown receptions - in just 32 games - breaking the conference record of 46, held by former Eagle Eric Kimble (2002-05).
Sacramento State (1-3, 0-1) scored 17-straight points to take a 20-7 lead into halftime, but Eastern Washington scored 21 unanswered in the third quarter, including a 98-yard catch-and-run by Bourne, to seal it.
Eastern Washington was scoreless in the second quarter, snapping a streak of 61 consecutive quarters in which it had scored.
