Earthquake strikes Oklahoma during Cowboys' FG attempt; kicker makes it anyway

Football players are used to playing in the cold, wind, rain and other extreme elements, but here's one you don't get very often.

A 4.5-magnitude earthquake struck just outside Oklahoma City on Saturday, with reports of shaking coming in from across the state -- including Stillwater, where No. 17 Oklahoma and No. 6 Oklahoma State were in the middle of their regular season-ending rivalry clash.

But since a 3.5-hour football game is filled with down time, surely the quake hit during a period of inaction? Not exactly. Cowboys kicker Ben Grogan was lining up a 41-yard field goal at the time. You can see the camera shake during the kick:

Best part: He made it! The boot gave Oklahoma State a 10-7 lead midway through the second quarter, and the events set off a flurry of props on Twitter:
