The nephew of former NFL superstar Brett Favre has been arrested in Mississippi on drug charges, the Sun Herald reported Wednesday.

Dylan Dewayne Favre, 20, was charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, Pearl County Sheriff Deputy Shane Tucker told the paper.

According to Tucker, deputies found marijuana and paraphernalia inside Dylan Favre's car after he was stopped for an unspecified traffic violation.

The nephew of the NFL all-time leader in passing yards and touchdowns was a redshirt freshman quarterback on the Mississippi State Bulldogs roster last season.
