Larry McCoy ran for three touchdowns and Sean Patterson threw for two more, leading Duquesne to a 37-21 win over Wagner on Saturday.

Trailing 7-0 less than three minutes into the game, the Dukes (6-2, 4-1 Northeast Conference) reeled off 31 straight to seal the win. Patterson threw touchdowns of 4 and 37 yards to Connor Dixon to start the spree and McCoy had scoring runs of 3 and 29 yards to close it.

McCoy finished with 149 rushing yards on 26 carries for Duquesne, and Patterson was 25 of 35 for 264 passing yards.

Nick Doscher accounted for all of Wagner's (1-6, 1-3) points, throwing for 154 yards and two touchdowns as well as rushing for 18 yards and a score.

The Dukes outgained the Seahawks 477-261 on offense, including a 213-107 advantage in rush yards, and forced the game's only turnover.
