DURHAM, N.C. (AP) Duke has suspended two football players indefinitely from game competition.

Coach David Cutcliffe said Friday that receiver Terrence Alls and defensive back T.J. Douglas have been suspended from games. He added they will remain suspended until they uphold the football program's academic, athletic and community standards.

Alls caught two passes for 14 yards last season. Douglas had one tackle in 12 games. Both players will be redshirt sophomores in the fall.

Duke opens the season Sept. 3 at Tulane.
