NFL media analyst Bucky Brooks has broken the top of the 2015 draft down into three tiers: elite prospects, blue chips and red chips.

Only six players were talented enough to earn Brooks' elite moniker; 15 more were deemed blue chip. Of the 25 red chips Brooks named, three are former Miami Hurricanes. Linebacker Denzel Perryman and running back Duke Johnson were two of five prospects the analyst found intriguing enough to expound upon.

Brooks thinks Perryman is being overlooked because of his size.

"If Perryman—an undersized linebacker—experiences a slide on draft day, I expect him to outperform his draft status with exceptional production as a first-year pro," Brooks wrote. "Perryman possesses all of the core traits (instincts, awareness, toughness and anticipation) to shine as a 'Mike' linebacker in the NFL."

As for Johnson, Brooks believes he can be an every-down back in the NFL.

"With his small stature, it's easy to cast Johnson as strictly a change-of-pace back," Brooks surmised. "But an extensive examination of his tape reveals a dynamite runner with the potential to anchor a ground game as a workhorse player."
