Desperate for RB depth, Crimson Tide land four-star B.J. Emmons

The normally stout backfield of the Alabama Crimson Tide has been hit with a string of defections and injuries lately, leaving only three healthy running backs on the depth chart heading into the season. 

You knew Alabama would use the lack of depth as a pitch in recruiting and apparently they have to much success, with the news of the commitment of four-star North Carolina running back B.J. Emmons.

Emmons was considered a Tennessee lean after decommitting from Georgia in June, stealing away a running back from their East rival must have been particularly sweet for the Tide. 

Emmons has already been selected to the 2016 U.S. Army All-American Game and will likely contend for playing time as soon as he arrives in Tuscaloosa. Check out this highlight video and see for yourself why so many of the SEC's elite are after Emmons:
