John Behm had an interception and a fumble recovery as part of five Davidson takeaways in a 28-21 win over Marist on Saturday.

The five forced turnovers surpassed the season total for the Wildcats (3-6, 3-4 Pioneer Football League) prior to Saturday.

Behm came up with his first turnover midway through the second quarter recovering a fumble on the Marist 43. The Wildcats then marched eight plays, capped by a 2-yard touchdown run by Kenny Mantuo for a 10-0 lead.

Davidson took an 18-0 lead on Jonathan Carkhuff's 4-yard pass to Mark Hanabury. The score was set up by Dan Casey's interception of Marist quarterback Tommy Reilly.

Mantuo had 35 carries for 124 of Davidson's 186 rushing yards. The Wildcats held Marist (3-6, 2-5) to just 3 yards rushing.

James LaMacchia had three touchdowns and 103 yards on five catches for the Red Foxes.
